I love nature and wildlife. I love herbs and gardens that nourish the body and soul. However, I lack the skills to make plants flourish. Animals I’m much better with.
I’ve got dogs, cats, chickens, and pigs right now.
As I grow, I feel that my green thumb is more metaphorical than literal. My awareness grows, my life adjusts to the life that surrounds me on my land. There are so many things I’m learning. Skills from long ago like herbalogy, basketry, everyday life connecting with the land, with nature. It helps me appreciate what I have and what really matters.
